  In General

  auge valves are stop-cock valves for local isolation of pressure measure- ment devices. Exit sides of these valves are usually fitted with an air-bleed screw for releasing the pressure from the measurement device.
  Connection to the measuring device is mostly via threaded collar or non- soldering compression fittings.
