  In general

  Gauge valves are stop-cock valves for local isolation of pressure measurement devices. Exit sides of these valves are usually fitted with an air-bleed screw for releasing the pressure from the measurement device.

  Connection to the measuring device is mostly via threaded collar or non-soldering compression fittings.
