    Special Versions

In addition to standard dimensions, customized versions are also available. If interested, please contact us for a free quotation.

    Note

Our exhausts conform to the stipulations laid down by G 442.
Explosion Protection Documentation acc. to §6 of the German Hazardous Substances Ordinance (GefStoffV) can likewise be submitted upon request.

Further versions with pipe threads, flanges, curved pipes, dewatering sleeves, end caps, straight and angled clamp-connectors etc. are available upon request.

    In General

Exhausts type A are conceived according to state of the art technology with an axially offset design between exhaust pipe and gas exhaust line for the removal of rainwater. As standard we offer exhausts in the nominal diameters EO 25 to DN 150 and in the materials steel and optionally stainless steel.

Our exhausts type A are manufactured in the standard version with a straight connecting pipe downwards and with a total length of L4 = 1,100 mm (size nominal diameters 1,300 mm).
The length L4 of 1,100/1,300 mm is designed for connecting the exhaust to an outlet opening at the outside of a building which protrudes out of a cabinet/ building at a height of ≥1,800 mm. When outlet openings are fitted higher than 1,800 mm, then the connecting pipe can be shortened according to needs. Here, care is to be taken to see that the ex-free zone underneath the exhaust L of 2,000 mm from ground level to the determined explosion protection zone underneath the exhaust is not below the minimum limit.

The formula d x 10 is used for determining the explosion protection zone underneath the exhaust (see drawing dimension h). The system of rules from G 442 should be made use of in determining the whole explosion protection zone, which has to be presented in the so-called ex-zone plan as integral part of the explosion protection document.

Exhausts in other dimensions and other designs, e.g. with 90-angled, longer connecting pipe or with closure at the lower end of the exhaust which are intended to be deployed for discharge pressures of ≥1.5 bar, can also be offered upon request.
